Wuzhao Feng is the whole grass of the Rosaceae plant Potentilla anserina. It is mainly distributed in Sichuan and Guizhou provinces in China and can be used to treat various diseases. Below are several recommended uses of Wuzhao Feng.
Remedy 1: Tetanus
Ingredients: 30g of Yuzhucao (also known as Shaozi Cao), 20g each of Wuzhao Feng (also known as Shehan Cao) and Cheqian Cao, 10g of Wugong.
Usage: Take 1 dose daily, boil in water and drink frequently. It detoxifies, dispels wind, and relieves spasms. It is mainly used to treat tetanus.
Remedy 2: Chronic bronchitis
Ingredients: 60g of Wuzhao Feng (Coarse Leaf Banyan), 24g of Pengqianshi (Rhododendron), 30g of Gonggai (Vine Leaf), 12g of Ganmomai (Houttuynia cordata), 9g of Baimianfeng (Aster tataricus), 15g of Jiemo Mei (Centella asiatica).
Usage: Decoction, take it twice a day.
Remedy 3: Anemia
Ingredients: 15g each of Wuzhao Feng (Coarse Leaf Banyan), Maloushuang (Eucommia ulmoides), Jiucengfeng (Celastrus orbiculatus), Jieduanpang (Nelumbo nucifera), and Zouma Feng (Persicaria longiseta).
Usage: Stew with pig trotters and take it.
Remedy 4: Heart disease, coronary heart disease
Ingredients: 10-15g each of Wuzhao Feng (Coarse Leaf Banyan), Jiucengfeng (Celastrus orbiculatus), Jiulongzuan (Cissus quadrangularis), Baowanfeng (Agastache rugosa), and Sifangzuan (Strobilanthes cusia).
Usage: Decoction, for coronary heart disease, add fruits of Congliang (Amomum villosum).
