【Methods of Cultivating Chishang San】
1. Cultivation Techniques

When planting, plow the soil and create raised beds 1.3m wide. Dig holes with row and plant spacing of about 33cm. Plant 2 plants of Chishang San per hole, compact the soil, apply animal and poultry manure and wood ash, and finally cover with fine soil to level with the bed surface.
2. Field Management
After planting, weed and fertilize 3 times a year. The first time is right after sprouting in March, the second time is in June to July, and the third time is during the winter when the plants wither. For the first and second fertilization, animal and poultry manure is mainly used, and for the third time, wood ash or compost can be applied.
