Clinical manifestations of lung-spleen qi deficiency type chronic bronchitis:


Coughing is weak, with abundant clear and thin white sputum. Expectoration is weak, accompanied by shortness of breath, fatigue or wheezing. There may be aversion to wind and spontaneous sweating, fatigue, loss of speech, poor appetite, loose stools, and susceptibility to colds. The tongue is pale with a white coating, and the pulse is weak and thin.
 




 [Winter Flower Tea]
  Ingredients: 6g of tea leaves, 3g of winter flowers, 3g of purple wisteria.
Preparation: Brew the three ingredients with boiling water and cover for a while.
Benefits: Expel phlegm and stop coughing.
Usage: Take 1 dose daily, drink as a substitute for tea, at any time.

 [Pork Lung Congee]
  Ingredients: 500g of pork lungs, 100g of glutinous rice, 50g of coix seed.
Preparation: Clean the pork lungs and boil them in water with some cooking wine until they are 70% cooked. Take them out, cut them into small pieces, and place them in a pot with glutinous rice and coix seed. Add spring onion and ginger. First, bring it to a boil over high heat, then simmer on low heat until the rice is cooked. Add a little salt and MSG for seasoning.
Benefits: Tonify the spleen and nourish the lungs, stop coughing and transform phlegm.
Usage: Eat 1-2 small bowls daily.
