[Planting Methods of Pig Bristle Grass]

1. Adequate water supply

Pig bristle grass generally needs to maintain moist soil, and it is important to keep the water supply sufficient during its growth period. Increase the humidity in the air during dry weather. It should not be allowed to lack water in the summer. Daily watering should not make the soil wet for a while and then dry, as this will cause the leaves to turn yellow.

2. Suitable temperature

Pig bristle grass does not have strict temperature requirements, but attention should still be paid to high temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter. Generally, in winter, the indoor temperature should be maintained above 5 degrees Celsius, and in summer, it should be placed in a cool and ventilated place, maintaining a temperature of around 25 degrees Celsius. Direct sunlight can cause leaf burn.

3. Soil requirements

The soil should not be too poor in fertility. Pig bristle grass generally grows in sandy soil rich in organic matter, but it can also be cultivated with purchased potting soil. Fertilization should be applied monthly, and the fertilizers should be applied to the roots. Repotting and changing soil in spring each year is also important when it needs to grow.

[Symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis]

1. Morning stiffness: Morning stiffness refers to the tightness, stiffness, and limited movement of the joints in the morning or after waking up. Mild cases can be relieved or disappeared after getting up or gentle exercise, while severe cases may persist throughout the day. The duration of morning stiffness is one of the indicators to measure the level of disease activity. Morning stiffness is a warning sign for all rheumatoid arthritis symptoms and also one of the main clinical diagnoses.

2. Joint swelling and pain: Joint swelling is a sign of synovitis or inflammation of the surrounding soft tissues. The degree of swelling varies depending on the type of inflammation, caused by joint effusion or synovial thickening.

3. Affected joints: Rheumatoid arthritis can affect synovium, cartilage, bone, tendons, ligaments, bursae, fascia, etc. The frequency of joint involvement in descending order is proximal interphalangeal joints, metacarpophalangeal and wrist joints, elbows, shoulders, ankles, hip joints, etc.

4. Migratory and symmetrical: Early joint migration is distinct. The migration period is short, and in addition to early migratory pain, joint inflammation is often symmetrical.

5. Limited mobility: The level of limited mobility is related to swelling, pain, and the level of joint and tissue damage. About 90% of patients have involvement of finger joints, especially proximal interphalangeal joint involvement, while distal interphalangeal joints are less affected.

6. Joint deformity or ankylosis: Due to the destruction of muscles, ligaments, and joint capsules by inflammatory joint lesions, the joints may show certain deformities such as swan neck deformity and buttonhole deformity.

7. Joint pain: Rheumatoid arthritis is mainly manifested as joint pain in the wrists, palms, fingers, and toes. The pain is characterized by pain in multiple joints, symmetrical, and persistent. Joint pain is mainly manifested as unilateral or bilateral knee pain, which is relieved after rest.
