Used for rheumatic pain, back pain, pain from injuries, abdominal pain, and toothache. Xu Changqing has good effects in dispelling wind and relieving pain, and is widely used for various pain conditions caused by wind, cold, qi stagnation, and blood stasis.

In recent years, Xu Changqing has also been used for postoperative pain and cancer pain, showing certain analgesic effects. It can be used alone or combined with other relevant medications.

2. Dispels wind and relieves itching:

Used for eczema, rashes, and stubborn psoriasis. Xu Changqing has the effect of dispelling wind and relieving itching. It can be taken orally alone or used as an external wash when decocted. It can also be combined with other medications such as Ku Shen, Di Fu Zi, and Bai Xian Pi to clear heat and dampness.
