The main prescription includes Qianzheng San with Shi Chang Pu, Fang Feng, Chuan Xiong each 10g, Qiang Huo, Dan Nan Xing each 6g, Gou Teng 15g, Bai Zhi 4g, and Wugong 2 pieces. If there is facial numbness, add Jin Yin Hua Teng and Si Gua Luo. If the tongue is purple, add Hong Hua.
2. Treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia
Qianzheng San is the main prescription. If it is triggered by external wind, add Bai Zhi 5g. If there is heavy heat with yellow coating on the tongue, add Long Dan Cao 8g. If the pain is severe, add Wugong 2 pieces.
3. Treatment of hemiplegia caused by stroke
The main prescription includes Qianzheng San with Wugong 2 pieces. If there is accompanying hypertension, add Xia Ku Cao 12g, Huai Niu Xi, Sang Ji Sheng, Du Zhong each 9g.
