Clinical Manifestations of Dampness-Obstructing the Spleen Type Obesity:


  Obesity, shortness of breath, fatigue, excessive and sticky phlegm, chest and epigastric stuffiness, poor appetite, lethargy, heaviness of the body, excessive sleepiness, enlarged and pale tongue with thick and greasy coating, and slow pulse.
 

 

 


 【Lotus Leaf Duck】  
  Ingredients: 200g duck meat, 25g glutinous rice flour.
Method: Remove the bones from the duck meat and cut it into pieces. Chop 5 star anises and fennel seeds, stir-fry them with glutinous rice until cooked, and grind them into fine powder. Then, mix soy sauce, cooking wine, monosodium glutamate, chopped scallions, ginger, and pepper to make a sauce. Soak the duck meat in the sauce for 2 hours, then mix in the glutinous rice flour. Cut a lotus leaf into 4 pieces, wrap the duck meat with the lotus leaf, place it in a plate, steam for 2 hours on high heat.
Efficacy: Tonify Qi and reduce fat.
Usage: Consume once every other day with a meal.
 
 【Pork with Clam and Radish Stew】  
  Ingredients: 500g pork leg meat, 100g clams, 1000g white radish.
Method: Soak the dried clams in warm water for half an hour, remove impurities, and keep them soaked in the original liquid. Cut the pork into pieces. Cut the radish into diamond-shaped pieces. Heat a wok, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and heat the oil over high heat. Add the pork and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add a tablespoon of yellow wine and stir-fry until the pork is cooked. Transfer the pork to a clay pot, then pour in the clams and the soaked liquid. Add a suitable amount of water, simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Then, add the radish. If there is not enough water, add an appropriate amount, and continue simmering for half an hour until the radish is cooked. Season to taste.
Efficacy: Transform phlegm and remove dampness.

 【Shredded Radish and Beef Stir-Fry】  
  Ingredients: 500g white radish, 250g lean beef.
Method: Wash and cut the radish and beef into thin shreds. Marinate the beef with salt, yellow wine, soy sauce, and starch. Heat a wok, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and heat the oil over high heat. Stir-fry the radish shreds first, add a suitable amount of salt, and stir-fry until 80% cooked. Remove and set aside. Heat another wok, add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and heat the oil over high heat. Add the beef shreds and stir-fry for 3 minutes, then add the radish shreds and mix well. Add a tablespoon of yellow wine and a little cold water, simmer for 3 minutes, add scallions, stir a few times, and serve.
Efficacy: Tonify the spleen and the stomach, promote blood circulation, and remove water and phlegm.
Usage: Consume with meals.
 
 【Weight Loss Tea】  
  Ingredients: 60g dried lotus leaf, 10g raw hawthorn, 10g raw coix seed, 5g orange peel.
Method: Grind all the ingredients into fine powder, mix well, and put them in a thermos. Brew with boiling water.
