Clinical manifestations of spleen-kidney yang deficiency type chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis:


    Abdominal distension like a drum, lower limb edema, feels like mud when pressed, sallow complexion, aversion to cold and preference for warmth, limbs not warm, poor appetite with epigastric fullness, scanty urine and loose stools, tongue is swollen with tooth marks, pale purple tongue color, white or greasy or slippery coating, pulse is deep, thin, and weak.
 

 



 [Yellow Hen Soup]  
  Recipe: 1 yellow hen, 30 grams of adzuki beans, 6 grams of grass fruit.
Method: Wash the yellow hen, cook it with the grass fruit and adzuki beans until the chicken meat is tender.
Efficacy: Warm and tonify yang, promote diuresis.
Usage: Drink the soup and eat the chicken. Take it as an accompaniment to meals, once a week.
 
 [Dog Meat Rice Porridge]  
  Recipe: 500 grams of dog meat, suitable amount of glutinous rice.
Method: Cut the dog meat into small pieces, cook it with washed glutinous rice to make porridge.
Efficacy: Warm and dispel cold.
Usage: Take it on an empty stomach as desired.
 
 [Mugwort Leaf Quail Egg]  
  Recipe: 10 grams of mugwort leaves, 2 quail eggs.
Method: Put the mugwort leaves and quail eggs in a pot, add 400 ml of water and cook until the eggs are cooked.
Efficacy: Warm and dispel cold, tonify qi and nourish deficiency.
Usage: Remove the soup and eat the eggs, once a day. 5-7 days is one course of treatment.
