Clinical Manifestations of Qi Stagnation Type Constipation:


   The stool is constipated and dry, with frequent belching, distention and fullness in the chest and hypochondriac region, distention and fullness in the epigastrium and abdomen, poor appetite, or abdominal pain, irritability, heat sensation, and dry mouth. The tongue is pale red with a thin, slightly greasy coating, and the pulse is wiry.
 

 



 [Stir-fried Fructus Aurantii Immaturus with Radish]  
  Recipe: 10g Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, appropriate amount of white radish, dried shrimp.
Method: Decoction of Fructus Aurantii Immaturus in water, extract the juice for later use. Cut the radish into pieces, stir-fry with lard, add dried shrimp, pour in the appropriate amount of medicinal juice, stew until very soft, season with a little spring onion, ginger, and salt, and it is ready to eat.
Efficacy: Smooths Qi and relieves constipation.
Usage: Eat it with meals.
 
 [Stewed Large Intestine with Fragrant Plant and Amomum Fruit]  
  Recipe: 10g fragrant plant, 5g amomum fruit, 10g sea cucumber, 1 pig large intestine.
