Traditional Methods of Consuming Deer Antler for Nourishing Qi and Blood

The following methods of consuming deer antler can all help to nourish qi and blood, promote blood circulation, and strengthen the body.

① Take 5 grams of antler slices, 1 piece of ginger, 1 red date, a little rice wine, put them in a cup, add half a cup of water, cover tightly, and steam in a pot with water. After the water in the pot boils, switch to low heat and simmer for 2-3 hours, then it can be consumed. Note: If beginners experience symptoms such as red eyes, dry mouth, and accelerated heartbeat, they should immediately stop consuming, as these are signs of inadequate nourishment. For those without the above symptoms, it can be consumed once every other day, gradually increasing the dosage to 10 grams. In addition, people with high blood pressure and heart disease should follow their doctor's advice when consuming deer antler.

② Wash the fresh antler and cut it into slices, soak it in 500 ml of white wine with a temperature above 50 degrees, and it can be consumed after 2 weeks. Take 10-25 ml, 3 times a day.

③ Take 10 grams of deer antler, 10 grams of ginseng, 10 grams of Schisandra chinensis, and 15 grams of goji berries, soak these four medicinal ingredients in 500 ml of white wine with a temperature above 50 degrees, and it can be consumed after two weeks; or grind them into fine powder for consumption; or powder and pack them into capsules for consumption; or slice and chew them for consumption.
