Lateral position: The patient lies on one side on the bed, with the lower limb on the same side bent and the leg on the opposite side naturally extended (if lying on the left side, the left leg is bent and the right leg is naturally extended). Both upper limbs are bent and placed in front of the body. This position is beneficial for treating the shoulder, arm, and outer side of the lower limbs.
3. Supine position: The patient lies naturally flat on the bed, with both upper limbs placed flat at the sides of the body. This position is beneficial for treating the chest, abdomen, both sides of the upper limbs, front side of both lower limbs, head and face, and the rib area.
4. Sitting position: The patient sits on a chair with a backrest, with both upper limbs naturally overlapping and resting on the back of the chair. This position is beneficial for treating the neck, shoulder, back, both upper limbs, and both lower limbs.
