Rub Si Zhu Kong

Pinch Jing Ming

Yu Yao is located on the forehead, directly above the pupil and between the eyebrows. Use the thumb to press and push along the arc of the eyebrows to the Taiyang acupoint 50 times. Then, apply strong clockwise pressure and rub it twice at the Yu Yao acupoint.

Benefits: Calm the mind and relieve convulsions, expel wind and open the meridians. It is used to treat eye diseases such as redness, swelling, pain, eyelid twitching, drooping eyelids, nearsightedness, acute conjunctivitis, and brow ridge pain in children.

Rub Taiyang

Using the thumbs of both hands, rub the temples of the child on both sides of the eyebrows and the hollow area about 1 inch behind the outer canthus 100 times.

Benefits: Calm the mind and awaken the brain, dispel wind and relieve pain. It is used to treat symptoms such as eye fatigue and eye redness and pain in children.

Press and Rub Si Bai

Using the fingertips of both thumbs, rub the Si Bai acupoints at the depressions below the eye sockets of the child in a clockwise direction 100 times, and then in a counterclockwise direction 100 times.

Benefits: Expel wind and improve vision, activate meridians and collaterals. It is used to treat eye symptoms such as redness, swelling, pain, facial paralysis, glaucoma, and night blindness in children.

Push Kan Gong

Using the thumb, push from the center of the eyebrows towards the ends of the eyebrows, gradually increasing the force until the center of the eyebrows turns slightly red.

Benefits: Expel wind and release the surface, clear heat and relieve pain, awaken the brain and improve vision. It is used to treat eye symptoms such as redness, pain, weak vision, and strabismus in children.
