Tremella and Coix Seed Stewed Snow Pear
Ingredients
40g Tremella, 40g Coix seed, 2 snow pears, appropriate amount of water, and rock sugar.
Instructions
1. Soak the Tremella overnight and wash away impurities.
2. Soak the Coix seed for 2 hours.
3. Clean the Tremella and Coix seed and put them together with appropriate amount of water into an electric stew pot.
4. Stew on low heat for 2 hours.
5. Clean the snow pears and remove the bottom.
6. Put them into the electric stew pot and stew for another hour. Add rock sugar in the last ten minutes.
Tremella and Rose Snow Pear
Ingredients
30g Tremella, 20g Job's tears, 3 slices of snow pear, 3 dried roses, 10g dried cranberries, 20g rock sugar, 1500ml purified water.
Instructions
1. Soak the Tremella for 4-6 hours, and soak the Job's tears in warm water for 4 hours.
2. Put them into a pot, add an appropriate amount of water and rock sugar, and stew on low heat for 2 hours.
3. Then add the snow pears and continue to stew for another hour. Sprinkle rose petals before serving.
Tremella and Pork Belly
Ingredients
500g pork belly, 20g Tremella, 1 spring onion, 5 slices of ginger, appropriate amount of seasoning.
Instructions
1. Soak the Tremella in cold water for 12 hours, remove impurities, and drain.
2. Wash the pork belly and cut it into 2cm square pieces.
3. Heat a pot over high heat, add enough oil, and heat until 50% hot. Stir-fry the pork belly until the surface changes color and some pork fat is rendered.
4. Add cooking wine and dark soy sauce, and stir-fry evenly.
5. Add spring onion and ginger, and add enough water.
6. Add white sugar and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
7. Add Tremella, stir evenly, and cook until the sauce thickens over high heat.
Tremella and Fish Maw Soup
Ingredients
20g fish maw, 15g Tremella, 50g rock sugar, 500ml milk.
Instructions
1. Soak the fish maw overnight. Soak the Tremella for at least 10 hours.
2. Put the fish maw, Tremella, and milk into a stew pot and stew over simmering water.
Tremella and White Fungus Sweet Soup
Ingredients
15g Tremella, 1 snow pear (300g), 30g rock sugar, 5g white fungus.
Instructions
1. Soak 5g of Tremella in 1000ml of water overnight (about 12 hours) until it becomes soft and expands to about 10 times its original size.
2. Carefully remove the black impurities from the softened Tremella, and rinse it with clean water. Break it into evenly sized pieces.
3. Soak the white fungus in water for 20 minutes until it becomes soft, and break it into small pieces. Peel the snow pear and cut it into 1cm cubes.
4. Put the Tremella, white fungus, and water into a pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and continue to cook for 30 minutes until the broth becomes thick.
5. Add the pear cubes and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the rock sugar and cranberries, stir and cook for another 3 minutes until the rock sugar is completely dissolved and the soup becomes thick.
