Medicinal use

Internal consumption: decoction. Dried product 6-12 grams, fresh product 15-30 grams. The fresh product is mostly used for warm diseases and hot thirst, and the dried product should be decocted for a long time. It is not suitable for those with cold spleen and stomach, thick and greasy coating and loose stools.

Edible method

Dendrobium in tea

Ingredients: Dendrobium 6~12g (fresh product available 15~30g). Method: Put dendrobium into a pot, add water and decoct for 30 minutes, store it in a heat preservation cup and drink it as tea. Effects: Clearing stomach and removing deficiency heat, generating fluid, appetizing and strengthening spleen; applicable to fluid injury and thirst, constipation, deficiency heat, dizziness and blurred vision, etc.

Dendrobium porridge

Ingredients: 10 grams of dendrobium, 50 grams of round-grained rice. Practice: Dendrobium add water and decoct to get juice, then use the juice to cook with round-grained rice as porridge. Efficacy: This method has the function of nourishing yin and generating fluid, and can be used to treat fever injury, deficiency heat, slight sweating, dizziness of eyes, thirst, or soreness of tendons and bones, dry and red tongue, etc.

Dendrobium infusion wine

Practice: Wash and chop the fresh dendrobium and pat it, single taste or immerse it into the wine above 40 degrees together with other materials, and consume it after 3 months. Efficacy: tonic yin, generate fluid, dispel wind and relieve pain, help dispel disease and fitness.
