December 4, 2023

Menstruation brings a lot of troubles to women. During this period, women's mood swings greatly! How should women resolve this issue?

Generally speaking, girls have unstable emotions during menstruation, and are prone to irritability and impulsiveness. On the one hand, this is due to the influence of the neuroendocrine system during menstruation. On the other hand, some girls lack a correct understanding of menstruation, influenced by their parents and classmates, thinking that menstruation is always a painful and unlucky thing throughout their lives. So how can girls adjust their bad mood during menstruation? In fact, there are many ways to adjust oneself physically and mentally during menstruation.

For example, actively participating in collective recreational activities, reading healthy literary magazines during free time, watching movies and TV shows without affecting studying, having heart-to-heart conversations with good friends, participating in appropriate sports activities, etc., to maintain emotional stability and a pleasant mood, in order to avoid misunderstandings among classmates and unnecessary sadness for parents.

Girls will feel more tired than usual during menstruation, fatigue, body aches, laziness, and decreased physical strength. Many women also experience a series of general discomfort symptoms before or during menstruation. Such as lower back pain, abdominal heaviness, breast tenderness, difficulty concentrating in class, decreased appetite, feeling restless, and increased susceptibility to colds, and so on. These are all normal phenomena.

This is because girls' physical strength undergoes periodic changes. About eight or nine days before the onset of menstruation, physical strength gradually increases until one to three days before the onset of menstruation, when physical strength reaches its peak. After menstruation, physical strength sharply declines. After the end of menstruation, physical strength gradually recovers to the usual level until the next menstruation. Therefore, female middle school students should not overwork themselves during menstruation, but rather combine work and rest and take appropriate breaks to ensure better learning.
