Herbal Tea for Calming the Mind and Nourishing the Heart

1. Night Jasmine Tea

Ingredients: 5g of Night Jasmine, 1g of Flower Tea.

Usage: Brew with 200ml of boiling water and drink when the taste is light. Tea can be omitted.

Function: Nourishes the heart and calms the mind, dispels wind and opens the meridians.

Usage: Boil Bupleurum, Scutellaria Baicalensis, Pinellia Ternata, and Codonopsis Pilosula with 350ml of water until boiling, then brew with Licorice and Green Tea. Can also be brewed directly.

Function: Harmonizes the Shaoyang.

Uses: Shaoyang syndrome with alternating chills and fever, chest and rib distention and pain, loss of appetite, restlessness, bitter taste in the mouth, dry throat, dizziness.

20. Bupleurum and Licorice Tea

Ingredients: 5g of Bupleurum, 3g of Licorice, 3g of Green Tea.

Usage: Brew with 250ml of boiling water and drink. Brew until the taste is light.

Function: Harmonizes the Shaoyang, relieves muscle tension.

Uses: Pathogenic factor entering the meridians and deficiency of the body, chills and fever.
