Many times, we may experience insomnia. So, what can we do to deal with insomnia in our daily lives?

Modern people have increased workloads. If you experience anxiety, depression, or irritability and find it difficult to sleep at night or lack energy during the day, you can try massaging these "happy points".

Always having trouble sleeping? You can massage these acupoints.

Massage the Pericardium Meridian

The Pericardium Meridian runs along the midline of the front of the arms, starting from the chest, passing through the diaphragm, and ending at the middle finger. There is one meridian on each arm.

You can massage each acupoint along the Pericardium Meridian. Use pain as a standard for each acupoint. Press multiple times on any point that feels painful, and it's best to press until the pain disappears. The pressure does not need to be too heavy, and you can stay on each acupoint for a few seconds. On average, massage each acupoint for 2-3 minutes.

If you find it troublesome to find the acupoints, you can simply tap along the Pericardium Meridian, tapping each point one by one. Tapping the Pericardium Meridian is very effective in promoting air circulation.

Smooth the Conception Vessel Acupoint

The Conception Vessel acupoint (between the two breasts) has the function of calming the mind and relieving chest tightness. When massaging, use the tip of your thumb to apply pressure to the acupoint. Press each time for about five seconds and rest for three seconds. You can press and smooth it about a hundred times when feeling angry, which can help smooth the flow of Qi.

Gently tap the Hundred Meeting Point and Wind Pool

The Wind Pool acupoint is located in the back of the neck, in the depression between the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the trapezius muscle. Tapping this acupoint can help refresh the mind and awaken the brain. Tap lightly whenever you feel tired, tense, or anxious. The pressure should be slightly painful.

Finger press the Hegu Point

Place the first joint crease of one thumb directly across from the web of the other hand, and press down when the thumb is flexed. The point where the fingertip is pointed is the Hegu Point. The Hegu Point belongs to the Large Intestine Meridian of the Hand Yangming. Massaging this acupoint has a certain therapeutic effect on neurogenic headaches, insomnia, and neurasthenia.
