Unlocking the Healing Power of Tianchong Acupoint: Headache Relief and Gum Swelling Treatment

March 21, 2024

Tianchong acupoint is one of the commonly used acupoints in our body. Massaging it can treat headaches and swollen gums. Since Tianchong acupoint is located on the head, it is important to be cautious and not apply too much pressure when massaging it from the outside.

1. Relieving headaches

When a person experiences excessive inner conflicts, it can lead to symptoms such as headaches, panic, and epilepsy, all of which are directly related to Tianchong acupoint.

Therefore, when you have feelings of fear, uneasiness, or discomfort in your inner self, along with symptoms like headaches, stimulating the Tianchong acupoint immediately will have a good effect.

2. Treating swollen gums

Swollen gums refer to the pain in the base of the teeth and the swelling of the surrounding gums. If it is a common gum inflammation, taking some anti-inflammatory drugs and combining them with massage treatment can help. If it is gum swelling caused by tooth decay, it is best to go to the hospital for a check-up.

Massage method: Place the four fingers together on the Tianchong acupoint on the head and massage for 3 minutes, then press the Daying acupoint on both sides of the face with the thumbs 20 times each. This method has a good effect on treating swollen gums.

3. Clearing heat and reducing swelling

Press the four fingers lightly on the Tianchong acupoint, and massage it once in the morning and evening, each time for 1-3 minutes on each side (or both sides simultaneously). This can help clear heat and reduce swelling, relieve wind and calm the mind, and replenish qi and yang.
