First: Pain in Shuiquan Acupoint - Inflammation of the Kidneys

Pressing on the Shuiquan acupoint and feeling pain indicates that there is inflammation in the kidneys. The severity of the inflammation is directly proportional to the pain felt when pressing the acupoint.

Symptoms of kidney inflammation: Sore and uncomfortable waist, weak and foamy urine, bifurcation, impotence in men, cervical erosion in women, etc.

Location of Shuiquan Acupoint: 1 inch below the Taixi acupoint, at the inner depression of the heel bone.

Second: Pain in Yinxu Acupoint - Inflammation of the Heart

Pressing on the Yinxu acupoint and feeling pain indicates inflammation in the heart. The severity of the inflammation is directly proportional to the pain felt when pressing the acupoint.

Symptoms of heart inflammation: Heavy and painful sensation in the precordial area, and in severe cases, enlargement of the heart may be observed.

Location of Yinxu Acupoint: Extend the elbow and face the palm upwards. Firmly make a fist. On the inner side of the forearm, you can feel a large tendon (flexor carpi ulnaris tendon) when following the outer side of this tendon up to the upper half of the horizontal finger, it corresponds to the midpoint of the thumbnail of the thumb. Pressing on this area will produce a sore and swollen sensation.

Third: Pain in Diji Acupoint - Inflammation of the Spleen (including the Pancreas)

Pressing on the Diji acupoint and feeling pain indicates inflammation in the spleen. The severity of the tenderness is directly proportional to the severity of the inflammation.

Symptoms of spleen inflammation: Lack of appetite or reduced food intake, dull pain in the lower left abdomen, and the pain is particularly noticeable after eating.

Location of Diji Acupoint: On the line connecting the Yinlingquan acupoint and the high point of the medial malleolus, 3 inches below the Yinlingquan acupoint. The spleen referred to in Chinese medicine refers to the spleen and pancreas in the body. So when the pancreas is inflamed, such as in diabetes, there will also be tenderness in the Diji acupoint.

Fourth: Pain in Kongzui Acupoint - Inflammation of the Lungs

Pressing on the Kongzui acupoint and feeling pain indicates inflammation in the lungs. The severity of the inflammation is directly proportional to the pain felt when pressing the acupoint.

Symptoms of lung inflammation: Feeling of chest tightness, difficulty breathing, coughing up phlegm, etc.

Location of Kongzui Acupoint: On the palm side of the forearm, when the line connecting the Chize acupoint and the Taiyuan acupoint is followed, it is located 7 inches above the wrist crease.

Fifth: Pain in Zhongdu Acupoint - Inflammation of the Liver

Pressing on the Zhongdu acupoint and feeling pain indicates inflammation in the liver. The severity of the inflammation is directly proportional to the pain felt when pressing the acupoint.

Symptoms of liver inflammation: Yellowing of the eyes and skin, yellow urine, moisture and itching around the genitals, etc.

Location of Zhongdu Acupoint: 7 inches straight up from the high point of the medial malleolus, in the center of the medial side of the tibia.
