How to relieve palpitations through massage?
Palpitations are a conscious feeling of fast and strong heartbeats, accompanied by discomfort in the precordial area. The main symptoms include rapid and irregular heartbeat, a sense of urgency in the heart, restlessness, and loss of autonomy, which can easily lead to viral myocarditis.

Location: On the midline of the chest, at the intersection of the line connecting the two nipples and the midline of the sternum.

Massage method: Assume supine position, use the thumb to push and massage the Tanzhong acupoint from bottom to top for about 2 minutes, preferably with a tingling sensation spreading towards the chest.

Location: On the inside of the scapula, 2 horizontal fingers below the spinous process of the 4th thoracic vertebra.

Massage method: The person being massaged should assume a sitting or prone position, the massager should use both thumbs to rub the Juanyinshu acupoint in a clockwise direction for about 2 minutes, then rub in a counterclockwise direction for 2 minutes, until there is a local sensation of heat.

Rub the Xinyu acupoint
Location: On the inside of the shoulder blade, 2 horizontal fingers wide below the spinous process of the 5th thoracic vertebra.
Massage method: The person being massaged should assume a prone position, the massager should stand to the side, and use both thumbs to rub the Xinyu acupoint in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions for 2 minutes each, until there is a local sensation of soreness and heat.

Pinch the Shenmen acupoint
Location: Palm facing upward, on the wrist crease on the side closer to the pinky finger.
Massage method: The massager uses one thumb to pinch the Shenmen acupoint of the person being massaged for about 1 minute, until there is a feeling of soreness and swelling, and alternates between the left and right hands.

Press the Neiguan acupoint
Location: On the inside of the arm, about 3 horizontal fingers wide above the wrist crease.
Massage method: The massager uses the right hand to support the forearm of the person being massaged, and uses the left thumb to press the Neiguan acupoint for 2 minutes, preferably with a tingling sensation spreading towards the wrist and hand.
