Xuehai Acupoint

 

The Xuehai acupoint is an important acupoint on the Spleen Meridian of the Foot-Taiyin. It can prevent and treat menstrual disorders, knee pain, menopausal disorders, and physiological pain.

 

Self-location: Sit with your knees bent. The Xuehai acupoint is located on the inner side of the thigh. It is about three finger-widths above the inner corner of the knee bone, in the groove above the muscles. You will feel a tender spot when pressed.

 

Basic movements: Exhale while pressing the acupoint on the same side with the thumb in a spiral motion, repeating 49 times.
