    Laogong Acupoint (PC8), the name of the acupoint. Mentioned in "Ling Shu Ben Shu". Also known as Wuli, Palm Center, and Ghost Road. Belongs to the Hand Jueyin Pericardium Meridian. Fire acupoint. Located in the center of the palm, between the second and third metacarpal bones, slightly towards the third metacarpal bone. It is at the tip of the middle finger when making a fist. Some say it is at the tip of the ring finger when making a fist (Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang). It is where the Median Nerve of the second finger and the Ulnar Artery of the palm are located. It is used to treat coma, fainting, heatstroke, vomiting, heartache, madness, epilepsy, oral ulcers, bad breath, and chilblains, etc. Needle insertion depth is 0.3-0.5 cun. Moxibustion with 3 moxa cones or moxa sticks for 3-5 minutes. Located in the center of the palm, between the second and third metacarpal bones, slightly towards the third metacarpal bone. Needle insertion is relatively painful, so it should be used with caution in the elderly, the weak, and pregnant women.
