【Treating Vaginal Itching with Lígōu Point】
The internal cause of vaginal itching is damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder, and the Lígōu point is exactly where the warm and damp Qi from the Sānyīnjīao point flows through the foot Shaoyang gallbladder meridian. Therefore, massaging this point has an immediate effect on relieving vaginal itching.
The Lígōu point is located on the bone, on the front side of the bone. It is massaged correctly when the bone is felt. In ancient times, "Lí" meant ladybug, and "Lígōu" means a bug crawling here.
The Lígōu point is used to treat itching diseases. It is especially effective for scrotal eczema, vaginal itching, and other damp-heat diseases. Women with menstrual problems will feel pain at the Lígōu point, so they should massage it frequently to disperse the pain, and they won't feel pain during menstruation.
The collateral points are specialized in treating chronic diseases, and the Lígōu point is a collateral point of the liver meridian, connected to the gallbladder meridian. Therefore, it can not only treat chronic diseases of the liver meridian but also treat chronic diseases of the gallbladder meridian, specifically regulating the liver and gallbladder.
However, to achieve the best therapeutic effect, it is necessary to combine it with the "Qūquán" and "Yīnlíngquán" points to eliminate dampness. Drinking mung bean and coix seed porridge regularly can detoxify the liver and eliminate damp-heat.
