Jinggu Acupoint is the original acupoint of the bladder meridian, with the functions of calming the mind, soothing the muscles, and promoting circulation. Jinggu is paired with Yongquan, Shenmai, Shuigou, and Baihui to treat epilepsy. Traditional Chinese acupressure can treat various diseases by stimulating specific acupoints. So, what other diseases can be treated by combining Jinggu with other acupoints? Let's find out together!

Anatomical Location of Jinggu Acupoint
Below the Jinggu acupoint are the skin, subcutaneous tissue, extensor digitorum brevis muscle, and the fifth metatarsal (periosteum). Blood vessels and nerves are distributed similarly to Jinmen (which has the lateral veins and arteries of the foot and the superficial and deep lateral plantar nerves). The skin is innervated by the lateral cutaneous nerve of the foot (see Jinmen acupoint).
1. Layered Anatomy
Skin → Subcutaneous tissue → Extensor digitorum brevis muscle.
2. Nerves and Blood Vessels in the Acupoint Area
Superficially, there are lateral cutaneous nerves of the foot and small saphenous veins; deeply, there are lateral plantar nerves and branches of arteries.
The lateral cutaneous nerve of the foot and the lateral plantar nerve pass through this acupoint.
