Traditional Chinese medicine believes that acupressure and acupuncture have the function of preventing and treating diseases and are complete in terms of health preservation. There are many acupoints in the human body, and each acupoint corresponds to different health benefits. Not only women, but men also have their own specific acupoints for health preservation. Here are 4 major acupoints for men's health.

Qihai (Sea of Qi)

Location: Located 1.5 inches below the navel on the midline of the abdomen. When locating this acupoint, you can adopt a supine position. This acupoint is located in the lower abdomen, connecting the navel and the pubic bone above it in a straight line. Divide this line into ten equal parts, and the acupoint is located at 3/10 of the distance from the navel.

Function: Qihai is an important acupoint for acupuncture health preservation. It has the functions of nourishing Qi, assisting Yang, regulating menstruation, and consolidating the menstrual cycle. It can assist in the treatment of conditions such as enuresis, weak erections, nocturnal emissions, and spermatorrhea in men.

Guanyuan (Gate of Origin)

Location: Located three inches below the navel.

Function: According to traditional Chinese medicine, Guanyuan acupoint has the function of nourishing the Yuan (source) and strengthening the foundation, and it can be used for any deficiency of the Yuan Qi. It is commonly used in the treatment of urinary and reproductive system disorders. Modern research has confirmed that massaging and vibrating the Guanyuan acupoint mainly regulates the endocrine system, thereby treating reproductive system diseases, especially for treating erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, loss of appetite, and fatigue.

To fully stimulate these two acupoints, it is suitable to use the "palms pushing abdomen method". Men should lie on their backs, with their hands overlapping. First, push along the midline of the abdomen from top to bottom, repeating 20 times. Then, push down from the lower edge of the rib arch on both sides to the base of the thigh, also 20 times. Finally, massage the area around the navel clockwise, gradually expanding to the entire abdomen. After massaging for two to three minutes, massage in a counterclockwise direction using the same method.

Zusanli (Stomach 36)

Location: Located on the outer side of the lower leg, three inches below the calf's nose, on the line connecting the calf's nose and the Xiexi acupoint.

Function: Zusanli is the number one acupoint for men. It can prevent and treat various diseases and improve physical fitness. Regular massage of this acupoint can regulate the spleen and stomach, tonify Qi, and strengthen the kidneys. It is helpful in treating conditions such as weak erections, premature ejaculation, and weak spleen and stomach.

Shenshu (Kidney Shu)
