The purpose of hair care is to maintain the health of the hair and overcome problems such as dandruff or hair loss. It doesn't require any special hairdressing skills, just finding the right care methods for yourself.
1. Don't pour shampoo directly on your head
If you have fine and soft hair, avoid pouring shampoo directly on your head while washing. Many shampoos, especially creamy ones, contain hair care ingredients that can make the hair roots stick to the scalp, resulting in flat hair. It's best to pour the shampoo into your palm, apply it to the hair strands without touching the scalp, and finally rinse the scalp with the foam produced by rubbing.
2. Taming natural curls
If you want to straighten your natural curls, you can spray hair gel on a fine-toothed comb or a clean toothbrush, and comb the hair from the hairline downwards to keep it straight.
3. Nighttime repair
Applying leave-in conditioner before going to bed can repair dry and damaged hair. Doing this two to three times a week is most effective. After applying the conditioner, comb the hair smoothly and place a towel on the pillow to protect it from getting dirty.
4. Utilizing oils
If your hair is severely damaged, you can apply a few drops of moisturizing olive oil to the ends of your hair before deep conditioning treatment.
5. Beach care
Before going swimming in a pool or at the beach, apply a little sunscreen or a hair conditioner with sun protection to your hair. Sunscreen helps protect the hair color, and the warmth of the sun allows the hair care ingredients to penetrate deeply into the hair strands. After rinsing your hair, you will find it becomes very soft.
6. Avoid rough rubbing of the hair
Instead of vigorously rubbing the hair before blow-drying, gently press it with a towel.
7. Taming frizzy hair
After washing the hair, mix two parts hair wax with one part alcohol-free styling gel to control frizz.
