 1. Scraping the hands and feet, promoting qi circulation

Women often experience cold hands and feet, which is mainly related to insufficient yang qi in the body or poor circulation of qi and blood. It is recommended to first use the scraping board to scrape the palms until they become warm, and then use the grooves on the scraping board to scrape all sides of the fingers from the base to the fingertips, scraping in each direction 5 to 10 times to promote qi circulation. The same method can be applied to scrape the feet.

2. Scraping the abdomen, promoting bowel movements

Long-term constipation not only affects digestion and absorption functions, but also causes the body to absorb toxins. Use the scraping board to scrape the abdomen from top to bottom, from left to right. It should be noted that if there is visceral prolapse, scraping should be done from bottom to top.

3. Scraping around the eyes, improving vision

I believe everyone has done eye exercises and is familiar with several acupoints. By replacing finger kneading with scraping, more effective stimulation can be applied to acupoints. First, use the scraping comb to press on the Jingming acupoint, and then scrape from the Jingming acupoint to the outer corner of the eye, scraping in both directions of the upper and lower eyelids. This can improve the circulation of qi and blood around the eyes, relieve eye fatigue and dryness.

4. Scraping the neck, promoting blood circulation and relieving muscle tension

Neck and shoulder discomfort is a "occupational disease" for desk workers. Scraping can promote blood circulation and relieve local stagnation of qi and blood. The main routes to choose are from the midpoint of the occipital bone to the Dazhui acupoint, and from the two outer angles of the occipital bone to the left and right shoulder directions. In addition, scraping this area when having a cold also has the effect of dispelling wind and relaxing muscles.

 5. Scraping the sternum, expanding the chest and regulating qi

Many people feel chest tightness and shortness of breath when they are in a bad mood or tired. Scraping the lower half of the sternum slowly from top to bottom with the single angle of the scraping comb can stimulate the "Qihui" acupoint at the Eight Confluence Points, which has the effect of expanding the chest and regulating qi. In addition, people who often hiccup can also frequently scrape this area.

 6. Scraping the sides and ribs, regulating liver and relieving depression

Anxiety, depression, and irritability can disrupt the overall function of the body due to long-term mental stress. According to traditional Chinese medicine, normal emotional activities rely on smooth circulation of qi. The liver can regulate the circulation of qi. Since the liver meridian mainly distributes on the sides and ribs of the body, scraping this area can regulate the liver and relieve depression. The key points are the Qimen acupoint at the intersection of the nipple line and the sixth intercostal space. When scraping, the movements should be slow, and painful or nodular areas should be found and scraped.

7. Scraping the soles of the feet, relieving insomnia

Insomnia patients can scrape the soles of the feet before going to bed at night, which helps promote sleep and relieve headaches. The method is to scrape the entire sole of the foot from the arch to the heel, and then use the single angle of the scraping board to scrape the Yongquan acupoint in the center of the foot.

 8. Scraping the head, refreshing the mind

The head is where the yang meridians of the whole body converge. After waking up in the morning, use the scraping comb to scrape the head, which can invigorate yang qi and make people feel clear and refreshed. The method is to scrape radially from the Baihui acupoint on the top of the head until there is a sensation of heat on the scalp. If there are tender points, scrape them repeatedly for 5 to 10 times.
