Summer burns are very common, and the high outdoor temperature makes it easy to get infected and inflamed, so how to deal with this kind of burns to recover faster?
How to recover from finger burns faster
If the burns are on the fingers, you can also use cold water bath. The face and other parts that cannot be rinsed or bathed can be used for cold compresses. After the cold water treatment, wipe the wound dry, and then thinly apply some blue oil hydrocarbon, green ointment and other ointment-type drugs, and then properly bandaged for 1~2 days to prevent blistering. However, the face can only be exposed, no need to wrap. If a blister is formed, a sterile syringe can be used to draw or cut a small hole to release the water; if the blister is broken, use a sterile cotton ball to wipe dry to keep it dry and not to make the water accumulate into a block.
Note: Do not use purple potion or red mercury to apply after scalding, so as not to affect the observation of post-injury trauma changes.
How to recover fast from small area burns
For a small area of scalding burns should be as soon as possible to dip the affected part into cool water, or rinse with running tap water, in order to promote local heat dissipation, to prevent blisters, small area of fire burns can be disinfected first, and then clean cotton swabs dipped in clean raw honey, evenly coated on the wounded surface, scalding the initial 3-4 times a day, after the formation of scab to 2 times a day. If there is pus under the scab, the scab should be removed for cleaning and disinfection, and then coated with honey, so the treatment can make the burns recover more quickly.
How to recover from large burns quickly
If the body is locally scalded, first of all, do not panic, and do not rush to take off the close thin clothing, such as sweat: shirt, stockings and other clothing, should be quickly rinsed with cold water. Wait for cooling before you can carefully take off your clothes to avoid tearing the blisters formed after the burns. The purpose of cold water rinsing is to relieve pain, reduce oozing and swelling, and thus avoid or reduce blister formation. The flushing time is about half an hour or more, so that no pain is felt when the flushing is stopped. The general water temperature is about 20°C.
Note: Do not use ice water to avoid frostbite. This is followed by a visit to the hospital for further treatment of the burns to make them heal faster.
Warm tips
The folk saying soak in soy sauce after scalding is wrong, because soy sauce itself contains a lot of bacteria, also not conducive to heat dissipation, easy to cause wound infection. You should also not apply toothpaste after a burn.
