When is the best time to run?

Morning running

Do not eat breakfast before the morning run to prevent gastrointestinal discomfort.

Afternoon run

Advantages: the body fully warmed up; disadvantages: easy to affect dinner, causing indigestion or gastroenteritis; advice: an hour and a half before meals do not do exercise. After a day of "warm-up", the human nerve, muscle, joint condition in the afternoon near the evening, that is, 4:00 to 6:00 to reach the peak, when the movement can minimize the probability of injury, plus the outdoor temperature is moderate, very suitable for running. However, this time is exactly the busiest time for many office workers, some people take time to run after work and miss the meal, or eat immediately after exercise, which are very unhealthy and can cause indigestion or gastroenteritis. The correct approach is not to exercise within an hour and a half before meals, and after half an hour after meals, you can do light exercises such as walking and Tai Chi, and after an hour and a half, you can do moderate intensity exercises such as jogging.

Night running

Advantages: good weight loss effect; disadvantages: easy to be invaded by wind and cold; Suggestions: choose a crowded, well-lit place. Night running seems to be the best choice for students, white-collar workers and other people who find it difficult to find time to exercise during the day. Sweat less, cooler, not tanned, and hormones respond most strongly to exercise at this time of day, with a better weight loss effect. It should be noted that running at night is vulnerable to wind and cold invasion, do not run in the riverside and other windy places, easy to catch a cold. Also pay attention to the choice of running site, choose a crowded and well-lit place to ensure personal safety. Senior people should also choose to exercise in the evening, because at this time the blood platelet reduction, the risk of vascular infarction is also greatly reduced. However, try not to choose running, can be biased towards Tai Chi, walking and other more relaxed, slow-paced exercise, safe and comfortable.
