Insufficient exercise is the biggest

Electronic technology has pulled people from the outdoors into the indoors, especially young people, sitting in front of the computer during the day, lying down at night to play cell phones, almost insulated from sports.

Experts say: lack of exercise is the biggest "epidemic"

Insufficient exercise is considered a global 'epidemic' due to the dramatic rise in the burden of chronic diseases caused by physical inactivity, and has become a major threat to public health today. According to data just released by China's National Health Planning Commission, only 18.7% of Chinese adults exercise regularly. More than 80% of Chinese adults are under the threat of "not getting enough exercise". In reality, many people lose weight by eating less or dieting in pursuit of a good figure. However, the results are not satisfactory, experts say this is the fault of insufficient exercise. Overweight obesity is the result of a variety of factors, not a particular food, of which the lack of exercise plays a very important role. Obesity is not simply a matter of how much energy is consumed. Studies have found that simply reducing energy intake, i.e. dieting, can help subjects reduce their weight by about 25% in the short term, but once they resume a normal diet, their weight will quickly rebound. Exercise can increase energy consumption of higher muscle, improve cardiorespiratory fitness, and have significant benefits for weight control and health maintenance. The study also found that after moderate intensity exercise, the body will suppress the secretion of "hunger hormone", so that the demand for food is reduced. The data showed that after moderate to high intensity exercise, the subjects reduced their energy intake by more than 20%. Exercise is beneficial for the prevention and treatment of almost all chronic diseases, including the reduction of mortality from many diseases. At the same time, studies have found that patients who engage in regular exercise spend nearly 30% less on medical expenses than those who do not exercise enough. It is time for us to start encouraging people to use "exercise" as a free "medicine". We call on everyone to focus on "micro-exercising in pieces of time" and to make the most of the various fragmented intervals of time to exercise.
