Ze Xie is a traditional Chinese medicinal herb with excellent diuretic effects, especially when combined with other types of Chinese herbs for treating diseases. Are you familiar with the field management of Ze Xie?
【Dosage and Usage of Ze Xie】
Ze Xie has the effect of promoting urination and clearing damp-heat. It is used for urinary difficulty, edema, diarrhea with scanty urine, dizziness caused by phlegm and dampness, and hot and painful urination. It can be used in decoctions with a dosage of 5-10 grams. It also has the effects of reducing blood lipids, anti-atherosclerosis, and anti-fatty liver.
Due to its cholesterol-lowering, blood pressure-lowering, and lipid-lowering effects, Ze Xie can be used by middle-aged and elderly people to clear damp-heat, promote urination, and control the increase of cholesterol in the body by decocting and drinking Ze Xie soup.
If used for invigorating the spleen, resolving phlegm, promoting urination, and lowering lipid levels, you can choose 30 grams of Ze Xie, 10 grams each of Ban Xia (Pinellia ternata), Ju Hong (Citrus reticulata), Shan Yao (Dioscorea opposita), Bai Zhu (Atractylodes macrocephala), Shan Zha (Crataegus pinnatifida), and Gou Qi Zi (Lycium barbarum), 15 grams each of Yi Ren (Coix lacryma-jobi), He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum), and Che Qian Cao (Plantago asiatica), decocted and taken orally in two doses per day.
After improvement, you can continue to use 15 grams each of Ze Xie, Che Qian Cao, and Sheng Shou Wu, 12 grams each of Shan Zha and Gou Qi Zi, decocted as tea, and drink it frequently every day. Keep taking it for 3 months for good results.
【Field Management】
Supporting and supplementing seedlings: After planting, check the next day. If any seedlings are lodging, they should be straightened. If there are any missing seedlings, they should be replenished to ensure a complete crop.
Weeding and fertilizing: Ze Xie generally needs to be weeded, fertilized, and top-dressed 3-4 times during the growing period. These three tasks should be carried out continuously at the same time.
Irrigation and drainage: Shallow water irrigation is suitable during the growth period. After transplantation, the water depth should be maintained at 2-3 centimeters. After the second weeding, the water depth should be kept at 3-7 centimeters. After mid-November, gradually drain the water from the field and carry out field drying to facilitate harvesting.
Removing flower stems and lateral buds: In late September, after the second weeding, Ze Xie will continuously produce flower stems and lateral buds, which consume nutrients and affect yield and quality. Therefore, except for those left for seed production, the rest should be timely removed flower stems and lateral buds.
