1. Ze Xie and Poria Cocos Pork Bone Soup
Ingredients: 80g of Flat Bean, 80g of Coix Seed, 12g of Poria Cocos, 12g of Ze Xie, 5 Red Dates, 500g of Pork Bone, 3 slices of Ginger.
Method: Wash all the ingredients separately, soak the medicinal herbs; remove the pits from the red dates; crack the pork bone. Put everything into a clay pot, add 2500ml of water (about 10 bowls), bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for about 2 hours. Add salt to taste. Serves 3-4 people.

2. Ze Xie and Poria Cocos Crucian Carp Soup
Ingredients: 800g of Old Winter Melon, 1/2 Fresh Lotus Leaf, 12g of Poria Cocos, 12g of Ze Xie (available at Chinese medicine stores), 80g of Coix Seed, 1 Crucian Carp, 100g of Lean Pork, 3 slices of Ginger.
Method: Wash all the ingredients, cut the winter melon into chunks with the skin and seeds intact; soak the Chinese herbs and coix seed; clean and fry the crucian carp until slightly golden, then add a little water. Put everything into a clay pot, add 3000ml of water (about 12 bowls), bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for two and a half hours. Add salt to taste. Serves 3-5 people.
Effect: Consuming this soup can help to clear heat, relieve summer heat, and dispel dampness.
3. Ze Xie Congee
Ingredients: 10g of Ze Xie, 100g of Rice, a little bit of White Sugar.
Method: Clean the Ze Xie, put it in a pot, add an appropriate amount of water, decoct it to extract the juice, then add the rice to cook the congee. When it is cooked, add white sugar and boil for another one or two times. Take 1-2 doses daily.
Effect: Regular consumption of this congee has good effects on conditions such as difficult urination, edema, diarrhea, cloudy urine, excessive vaginal discharge, phlegm-fluid retention, and nocturnal emission and dizziness caused by insufficient kidney yin and excessive fire.
