Glass Jar
A glass jar is the most commonly used container, made from processed glass. It is generally available in three sizes: large, medium, and small. It has a spherical shape with an open bottom and a narrow neck. The advantages of using a glass jar include a smooth mouth, transparent material, and the ability to observe the congestion and bruising of the skin at the cupping site, making it easier to determine the appropriate duration for cupping. However, a disadvantage is that glass jars are fragile.
