Gua Sha Cupping: An Alternative Therapy for Targeted Healing and Disease Prevention

December 12, 2023

Gua Sha cupping is a therapy that uses certain tools, such as buffalo horn plates, wooden comb backs, porcelain spoons, etc., to scrape the skin of a specific part of the body, causing the skin to become red and congested, presenting a patch of purple-red spots. Then, the cups are applied to achieve the purpose of preventing and treating diseases.

This method can be used as a supplementary method when the range of the lesion is narrow or when the use of walking cupping or multiple cupping is restricted.
