"Changsha Medical Interpretation": "Burn it to dryness, grind it finely, and use it." Currently, take clean spiders, place them in a hot pot, roast them over low heat until they turn black and crispy, then take them out and let them cool.
[Appearance of the medicine] The spider is round or oval, with the head and thorax reddish-brown and the edges black. The abdomen is yellowish-brown with distinct black leaf-shaped patterns. There are yellow or red spots in the middle of the front end of the abdomen, and the underside of the abdomen is grayish-yellow. The spinneret is black-brown. The legs are yellowish-brown or black-brown with reddish-brown or black-brown rings, and often have incomplete appendages with 6 pairs. The body is light and brittle. It has a slight odor and a slightly bitter and salty taste. Roasted spiders have the same appearance as spiders, but are charred black and crispy in texture.

They have the functions of dispelling wind, reducing swelling, detoxifying, and dispersing nodules. After processing, impurities can be removed to make the medicine pure and effective in treating.
