Kidney concretions are derived from the bladder stones of Bos taurus domesticus Gmelin (commonly known as cattle), Bubalus bubalis Linnaeus (commonly known as water buffalo), or sus scrofa domestica Brisson (commonly known as pigs). When slaughtering cattle or pigs, the bladder is examined for the presence of stones. If stones are found, they are removed, cleaned, and dried.

[Processing effect] Kidney concretions have a neutral nature. They have the function of promoting urination and eliminating concretions. After processing, impurities and debris are removed, making the medicine purer. It is used for urinary calculi.
