Bird's Nest is also known as Ci Qiu Jing. It is recorded in the "Pharmacopoeia of Hunan Province". It is the stems and branches of the plant Kalopanax septemlobus (Thunb.) Koidz. of the Araliaceae family. It can be harvested all year round, washed, sliced, and used fresh or dried.
