Yiner, also known as baimuer and bai'er. Recorded in the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia". It is the dried fruiting body of the fungus Tremella fuciformis Berk. of the family Tremellaceae. When the earlobes stop growing and are fully open, they should be promptly harvested, washed with clean water, and dried or baked in a timely manner.
[Processing method] Take the original medicinal material, remove impurities, dust, and residual rotten bark of the stem.
[Appearance of the medicinal slices] It is an irregular chicken crown-shaped mass, composed of numerous small and curved petals, white or yellow-white, translucent, slightly shiny, brittle in texture. Slightly fragrant, with a mild taste.
[Processing effect] Yiner has a sweet and mild taste, and is neutral in nature. It enters the lung, stomach, and kidney meridians. It has the function of nourishing and moisturizing the lungs and stomach. This product is mostly used for the treatment of cough with deficiency and fatigue, blood in phlegm, thirst with less fluid, post-illness weakness, shortness of breath and weakness. For example, Yiner Shenqi Syrup for treating weakness and weak qi ("Complete List of Medical Products"); Yiner supplement for treating chronic dry cough without phlegm or with blood in phlegm, deficiency heat and thirst ("Jiangxi Provincial Drug Standards"); Yiner syrup for oral administration for treating chronic bronchitis ("Fujian Pharmacopoeia"); Yiner polysaccharide capsules for treating leukopenia ("Antibiotics" 1982). Processing can improve the cleanliness of the medicine.
