How acne is formed

Acne is not new to many people. Especially in adolescents, acne appears unexpectedly on their faces and causes a lot of problems for teenage boys and girls. How is acne formed?

Changes in hormone secretion

The tendency of adolescents to develop acne during puberty is related to the fact that their sex hormones start to be produced in large quantities. Sex hormones stimulate the sebaceous glands to hypertrophy and secrete too much sebum, while enzymes stimulate the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles to keratinize and keratinized cells to adhere, leading to the blockage of the ducts. Excessive sebum production and poor drainage are the main causes of acne. Women are also prone to acne during hormonal changes during the physiological period.

Dietary disorders

Frequent consumption of high-fat, high-sugar, spicy and fried foods, as well as stimulating foods such as liquor and coffee, can easily cause acne on the face due to the rise of heat in the lungs. In addition, vitamin deficiencies caused by dietary disorders may also lead to acne. For example, vitamin A deficiency may lead to keratinization of the hair follicle, and vitamin B deficiency may lead to lipid dysfunction and increased sebum secretion.

Skin Type Factors

Generally speaking, people with oily skin are prone to blocking pores and causing skin problems because of their high oil secretion. If the skin is not cleaned properly, it will accelerate the formation of acne due to pore blockage and bacterial infection. There is a relationship between skin type and genetics.

Living Factors

People who are often overworked, sleep deprived or depressed, or under stress can easily affect the normal function of anaerobic bacteria in the sebaceous glands of human hair follicles. This causes the accumulation of skin metabolites on the surface of the skin, which penetrates into the dermis over time, leading to specific chronic inflammation of the follicular ducts and surrounding tissues, causing acne. In addition, improper cleaning of the skin and improper use of cosmetics can cause acne.

Influence of disease

Diseases of the stomach, intestines, kidneys, and other organs can also lead to pimples. In particular, people with poor gastrointestinal function, long-term constipation, the body is not easy to excrete toxins, but also easy to induce acne.
