Slimming the Waist: Effective Exercises to Reduce Excess Fat

People who lack exercise tend to accumulate fat around their waist and abdomen. Many people have slim limbs but excess fat on the sides of their waist. So, what exercises can help reduce the excess fat on the sides of the waist?

Arms Spread Flying to Slim the Waist

Step 1: Sit on a waist slimming cushion, straighten your back, inhale, and spread your hands parallel to the ground, without shrugging your shoulders.

Step 2: Start the flying movement. Lean your body to the left side, feeling the compression on the left side of your waist and the stretching on the right side. Perform the movement slowly and repeat for 3-5 minutes.

Floor Side Rotation to Slim the Waist

Step 1: Bend your knees, touch the soles of your feet to the ground, and sit on a waist slimming cushion. Stretch one arm out and place the other arm in front of your chest. Maintain balance and slowly rotate to the right side, feeling the stretch and compression on both sides of your waist. Hold the position for 5 seconds and return to the center.

Step 2: Rotate in the opposite direction and repeat the movement 10 times. This can stimulate the decomposition and burning of fat on both sides of the waist.

Side Reach to Touch Toes and Slim the Waist

Step 1: Stand in an A-shape position, with feet apart and inhale while tightening the buttocks and keeping the neck straight.

Step 2: Keep the right foot still and step forward with the left foot, with the sole of the foot perpendicular to the right foot. Lean forward with the pelvis tilted forward and try to touch the left foot with the left hand. Slowly press down and hold for 10 seconds.

Step 3: Switch sides and repeat the exercise 10-20 times. Keep the pelvis tilted forward and avoid leaning sideways for better results in slimming the waist.

Hula Hooping to Slim the Waist

Hula hooping mainly engages the waist and abdominal muscles. Inhale, straighten your chest, and try to squeeze your shoulder blades together. Then rotate the hula hoop, which can help exercise the fat on both sides of the waist, promote fat burning in that area, and achieve the goal of slimming the excess fat on the sides of the waist.
