Natural Beauty Recipes for Nourishing and Rejuvenating Skin

1. Three Juice Paste

1500g fresh Ophiopogon japonicus, fresh Rehmannia glutinosa, fresh Asparagus cochinchinensis, 300g Poria cocos, 2000g honey. Method: Wash Ophiopogon japonicus, Rehmannia glutinosa, and Asparagus cochinchinensis, and extract the juice; grind Poria cocos into powder. Pour the juice into a pot and simmer over low heat until the juice is reduced by half. Add honey and mix well, then add Poria cocos powder and simmer until it becomes a paste. Take it with warm wine, 1 spoonful 3 times a day, for 30 days.

It has the effect of nourishing Yin and beautifying the face. It is suitable for those with stomach Yin deficiency, characterized by dry throat, reduced appetite, dull complexion, and thin body.

2. Pork Skin Soup

60g pork skin, 30g honey, 15g rice flour. Method: Remove the hair from the pork skin, wash it, and cut it into small pieces. Put it in a pot with enough water and cook until it becomes a thick broth. Add rice flour and honey and bring to a boil. Take it on an empty stomach, 1 dose per day, divided into 2 meals, for 20 days.

It has the effect of moisturizing the skin and reducing wrinkles. It is suitable for those with rough skin and increased wrinkles.

3. Egg Milk

150g fresh cow's milk, 350g egg whites, appropriate amount of lard, green onion, ginger, salt, monosodium glutamate, water starch, and sesame oil. 120g peach kernel, 120g red dates, 120ml honey, 60ml butter, 30g almonds, appropriate amount of white wine. Method: Dissolve honey and butter in wine; put peach kernel, red dates, and almonds in a glass container, add honey, butter, and wine, and soak for 3 weeks. Drink 20-30ml in the morning daily, for 15-20 days.

It has the effect of nourishing the kidneys and beautifying the face. It is suitable for those with dark complexion caused by kidney deficiency.

5. Braised Pork Skin

750g pork skin, appropriate amount of peanut oil, scallion, ginger, sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, soy sauce, sesame oil. Method: Wash the pork skin and cut it into thin strips. Put it in a pot and cook for about 1 hour. Remove it when it is soft and drain the water. Heat peanut oil in a wok over medium heat. Add scallion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant. Add sugar and stir-fry until melted. Add soy sauce and a little water, then add pork skin and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, skim off the foam, and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Method: Cut the pork tenderloin into pieces and put them in a dish. Add salt, monosodium glutamate, egg yolk, water starch, and flour and mix well. Soak the jujubes and wash them. Wash the licorice and wheat and put them in a pot with enough water. Cook and extract the juice. Heat a wok over medium heat, add peanut oil and heat until it is 60-70% hot. Add the pork and stir-fry until half cooked. Remove and put in a soup bowl. Add licorice, wheat juice, jujubes, salt, monosodium glutamate, and cooking wine. Steam over high heat for 2 hours. Consume regularly.

7. Cooked Rehmannia and Chicken Congee

100g chicken, 30g cooked Rehmannia glutinosa, 20g coix seed, 120g glutinous rice, appropriate amount of salt, ginger, green onion, monosodium glutamate, sesame oil. Method: Chop the chicken into minced meat. Put the cooked Rehmannia glutinosa in a pot with enough water and cook to extract the juice. Repeat the process with fresh water. Put the two batches of juice, washed coix seed, glutinous rice, and minced chicken in a pot. Add enough water and simmer over low heat until the glutinous rice and coix seed are cooked. Add salt, green onion, sesame oil, and monosodium glutamate to season. Consume it for breakfast, 1 dose per day, for 30 days.

It has the effect of nourishing blood, nourishing Yin, nourishing essence, and nourishing the skin. It is suitable for those with deficiency of organs, pale complexion, increased wrinkles, and decreased elasticity.

8. Peanut and Pork Bone Congee

500g pork bones, 60g peanuts, 150g glutinous rice, appropriate amount of coriander, and a little green onion. Method: Wash the coriander and chop it finely. Wash the pork bones and cut them into pieces. Put them in a pot with peanuts, add enough water, and boil for 30 minutes. Add rinsed glutinous rice and cook until it becomes porridge. Add coriander and green onion and bring to a boil. Season to taste. Take 1 dose per day, morning and evening.
