It also has significant conditioning and improvement effects on nasal congestion, dizziness, headache, and decreased sense of smell caused by chronic rhinitis.

Functions and Treatments of Massaging the Yintang Point

Massaging the Yintang point has the functions of clearing the mind, improving vision, and opening the nasal passages. It is commonly used to treat head diseases including headaches, dizziness, rhinitis, insomnia, trigeminal neuralgia, hypertension, and neurasthenia.

Other Functions of the Yintang Point

The occurrence of diseases can be determined through the Yintang point.

The normal color of the Yintang point is paler than the surrounding area, like a red color wrapped in transparent white silk, with a hint of red being the best. If the Yintang point appears black, blue, red, or yellow, it indicates that there is a disease in the body.

A black Yintang point indicates poor heart function, insufficient blood supply to the brain, cerebral ischemia and hypoxia, or even myocardial infarction. Additionally, acute lumbar sprains can also cause a black Yintang point.

A blue Yintang point is different from a bruise after an injury. It is a faint blue color without much luster, usually indicating stagnant Qi and blood stasis.

If the Yintang point is too red, it suggests abnormal blood lipids, high blood pressure, a hot-tempered personality, and susceptibility to stroke.

A yellow Yintang point indicates insufficient Qi and blood in the body, as well as weak spleen and stomach functions.

When the above symptoms occur, massaging the Yintang point can help improve the condition.
