Main Symptoms: Frequent bedwetting during sleep, increased urination, clear and long urine, pale complexion, cold limbs, aversion to cold, sore and weak waist and knees, poor intelligence, pale tongue, thin pulse.

Treatment Principle: Warm and tonify the kidney, consolidate and astringe urine.

Massage Prescription: Tonify the kidney meridian, tonify the spleen meridian, knead Shang Ma, knead Dantian, press and knead Baihui, knead Shenshu.

Technique:

1. Tonify the kidney meridian: Use the index finger and middle finger to push the distal phalanges of the little finger in a spiral motion 100-500 times towards the fingertips.

2. Tonify the spleen meridian: Use the thumb to push the distal phalanges of the thumb in a spiral motion 100-500 times towards the root of the thumb.

3. Knead Shang Ma: Use the thumb to knead the depression behind the metacarpophalangeal joint of the ring finger and little finger on the back of the hand 100-500 times.

4. Knead Dantian: Use the thumb to knead the Dantian point 2.5 inches below the navel 50-100 times.

5. Knead Shenshu: Use the thumb tip to press and knead the Shenshu point 1.5 inches lateral to the lower border of the second lumbar spinous process 50-100 times.

6. Press and knead Baihui: Use the thumb to press and knead the Baihui point at the intersection of the line connecting the tips of both ears and the midline of the top of the head, press 30-50 times, knead 100-200 times.

Massage Technique for Bedwetting with Spleen and Lung Qi Deficiency

Main Symptoms: Frequent bedwetting, frequent urination with small volume, pale complexion, fatigue, poor appetite and loose stools, spontaneous sweating, pale and thin tongue coating, weak pulse.

Treatment Principle: Tonify the middle and reinforce qi, consolidate and astringe urine.

Massage Prescription: Tonify the spleen meridian, tonify the lung meridian, tonify the kidney meridian, knead Wai Laogong, knead Dantian, press and knead Pishu, Shenshu, rub Baliao, knead Baihui.

Technique:

1. Tonify the spleen meridian: Use the thumb to push the distal phalanges of the thumb in a spiral motion 100-500 times towards the root of the thumb.

2. Tonify the lung meridian: Use the index finger and middle finger to push the distal phalanges of the ring finger in a spiral motion 100-500 times towards the root of the ring finger.

6. Press and knead Pishu: Use the thumb to press and knead the Pishu point 1.5 inches lateral to the lower border of the 11th thoracic spinous process 50-100 times.

7. Press and knead Shenshu: Use the thumb to press and knead the Shenshu point 1.5 inches below the lower border of the second lumbar spinous process 50-100 times.

8. Rub Baliao: Use the base of the palm to rub the Baliao points of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th sacral foramina for 5 minutes.

9. Knead Baihui: Use the thumb to knead the intersection of the midline of the top of the head and the line connecting the tips of both ears 100-200 times.

Massage Technique for Bedwetting with Liver Damp-Heat

Main Symptoms: Foul-smelling urine, small amount of urine, but with a strong odor, yellow urine color, red face and lips, restlessness, thirst, irritability, red tongue with yellow coating, purplish-red fingerprints.

Treatment Principle: Clear liver and drain heat.

Massage Prescription: Clear the liver meridian, clear the heart meridian, tonify the kidney meridian, clear the small intestine, pound and knead Xiaotianxin, clear Tianhe water, knead Dantian, push Jimen.

Technique:

1. Clear the liver meridian: Use the index finger and middle finger to push the distal phalanges of the index finger in a spiral motion 100-500 times towards the fingertips.

2. Clear the heart meridian: Use the index finger and middle finger to push the distal phalanges of the middle finger in a spiral motion 100-500 times towards the fingertips.

3. Tonify the kidney meridian: Use the index finger and middle finger to push the distal phalanges of the little finger in a spiral motion 100-500 times towards the fingertips.

4. Clear the small intestine: Use the thumb to push the ulnar side of the little finger 100-300 times, from the root to the fingertips.

5. Pound and knead Xiaotianxin: Knead the point at the intersection of the Xiaotianxin and Xiaoyuji points with the thumb tip 100-300 times, and pound with the middle finger tip 5-20 times.

6. Clear Tianhe water: Use the index finger and middle finger to push the middle part of the forearm in the middle 100-300 times, from the wrist to the elbow.

7. Knead Dantian: Use the thumb to knead the Dantian point 2.5 inches below the navel 50-100 times.

1. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, bedwetting is often caused by insufficient kidney qi and bladder dysfunction.
