Massage Techniques to Control Nocturnal Emission: Causes, Tips, and Treatment

November 21, 2023

Emission of semen without sexual intercourse is known as nocturnal emission. When it occurs during a dream, it is called nocturnal emission; when it occurs without a dream, even during wakefulness, it is called spontaneous emission. Below, we will teach you some massage techniques to control nocturnal emission.

Causes and mechanisms of nocturnal emission

Excessive mental exertion, excessive infatuation, excessive internal heat, depletion of kidney yang, stimulation of internal heat, disturbance of the seminal chamber; or excessive consumption of sweet, fatty, spicy food, resulting in damp-heat accumulation, downward movement of damp-heat, indulgence in erotic dreams, and disturbance of the seminal chamber, can all lead to nocturnal emission.

If one indulges in excessive sexual activities, suffers from long-term nocturnal emission or frequent masturbation, it can result in kidney qi deficiency. Deficiency of yin leads to hyperactive fire, disturbing the seminal chamber, while deficiency of yang leads to failure to store and contain semen, resulting in unstable seminal function. Both conditions can lead to nocturnal emission.
