Massage technique: In addition to the common massage techniques, add 300 pushes to the San Guan acupoint, and 100 clears to the Lung meridian; knead the Qu Chi acupoint for 1 minute; use the base of the palm to push the muscles on both sides of the spine, generating heat without discomfort; knead the Da Zhui acupoint for 1-3 minutes.

Wind Heat Syndrome

Symptoms include nasal congestion, impaired sense of smell, hot breath, thick and yellowish runny nose, fever, aversion to wind, sweating, thirst, and occasional coughing. The tongue is red with a thin yellow coating.

Massage technique: In addition to the common massage techniques, add 200 clears to the Lung meridian and 300 clears to the Tianhe and Shui acupoints; knead the Feng Fu and Qu Chi acupoints for 1 minute each, and gently stimulate to avoid discomfort; for severe heat, apply alcohol to rub the back for 1-3 minutes.

Massage technique: In addition to the common massage techniques, add 300 clears to the Liver meridian, 300 clears to the Lung meridian, 300 clears to the Tianhe and Shui acupoints, 100 kneads to the Zong Jin acupoint, and knead the Taichong and Sanyinjiao acupoints for 1 minute each; rub the Yongquan acupoint 20 times.

Spleen Qi Deficiency Syndrome

Symptoms include nasal congestion, excessive nasal discharge that can be thin or sticky, impaired sense of smell, heavy-headedness, fatigue, lack of appetite, bloating, loose stools, and sallow complexion. The tongue is pale with a thick white coating.

Massage technique: In addition to the common massage techniques, add 300 tonifies to the Spleen meridian and 300 kneads to the Ban Men acupoint; rub the navel for 2-5 minutes; knead the Zusanli acupoint for 1-3 minutes; knead the Pishu and Weishu acupoints for 1 minute each.

Lung Qi Deficiency Cold Syndrome

Symptoms include intermittent nasal congestion, white and abundant nasal discharge without odor, impaired sense of smell, shortness of breath, physical coldness, cough with phlegm. The tongue is pale with a white and slippery coating.

Massage technique: In addition to the common massage techniques, add 300 kneads to the Wai Lao Gong acupoint and 300 pushes to the San Guan acupoint; rub the abdomen with the navel for 2-5 minutes; knead the Feishu and Pishu acupoints for 1 minute each; knead the Zusanli acupoint for 1 minute.
