Causes of Premature Ejaculation

Psychogenic Premature Ejaculation

Under normal circumstances, the causes of premature ejaculation are multi-faceted, with the majority being psychological. It is mainly caused by long-term rapid ejaculation. Psychological reasons include lack of sexual knowledge, premarital sexual behavior, disharmonious marital relationships, fear of sexual intercourse harming health, poor environmental conditions, etc. Additionally, those who have a history of rapid masturbation ejaculation may also experience premature ejaculation. Many young men with premature ejaculation often experience impatience from their wives. Many young wives consider "sexual intercourse as a vulgar act". As a result, every time they have sexual intercourse, they urge their husbands to "finish quickly." This ultimately leads to the husband becoming a "habitual premature ejaculation" patient, and the wife never experiences the pleasure of orgasm, resulting in a vicious cycle of "no sexual pleasure". Ultimately, this may lead to the breakdown of the marriage.

2. Organic Lesion-Induced Premature Ejaculation

Premature ejaculation caused by organic lesions is not uncommon. Conditions such as short frenulum, phimosis, chronic prostatitis, posterior urethritis, seminal vesiculitis, orchitis, spinal cord lesions, diabetes, alcoholism, or morphine poisoning can cause congestion and erection of the penis, leading to premature ejaculation during sexual intercourse.

For this type of premature ejaculation, treatment of the underlying cause is necessary in order to cure the condition or alleviate the symptoms of premature ejaculation.

3. Endocrine Disorder-Induced Premature Ejaculation

Some young men have an increased testosterone level in their blood, which reduces the sexual arousal threshold and makes the ejaculatory center easily excited, leading to premature ejaculation. This type of premature ejaculation requires endocrine treatment in order to be cured.

Constitutional Premature Ejaculation

This type of premature ejaculation is more common in middle-aged and elderly individuals with poor physical constitution. Symptoms of premature ejaculation are more pronounced and often accompanied by symptoms such as lumbosacral weakness, mental fatigue, frequent nocturia, shortness of breath, fatigue, and pale complexion. This type of patient can greatly improve their premature ejaculation symptoms through nutritional and traditional Chinese medicine therapy.

Positional Premature Ejaculation

The speed of ejaculation is related to the sexual position, the amplitude and speed of penile thrusting, and the female partner's response. The greater the amplitude and speed of thrusting, the easier it is to ejaculate prematurely. If the female partner consciously contracts the vagina during thrusting, it will enhance the stimulation of the penis and lead to faster ejaculation. If both partners can cooperate and coordinate, care for each other, and accumulate experience through continuous practice, the duration of sexual intercourse can gradually increase, and the problem can be resolved.

Living Care for Premature Ejaculation

1. Relieve mental stress, maintain a calm and content state of mind, and moderate sexual activity.

2. Follow a regular sexual routine and avoid engaging in sexual activity when the body is fatigued.

3. If premature ejaculation occurs frequently, it is best to temporarily stop sexual activity for a period of time.

4. If premature ejaculation occurs, the female partner should show more affection and care for the male partner, helping to alleviate his psychological fears.
