November 13, 2023

It is very important to keep the Pericardium Meridian unobstructed, as protecting the Pericardium Meridian is equivalent to protecting the heart. Once the Pericardium Meridian becomes blocked, it can lead to the occurrence of heart diseases. So what are the symptoms of an obstructed Pericardium Meridian?

Symptoms of an obstructed Pericardium Meridian

When the Qi of the Pericardium Meridian is not smooth, the Yang Qi in the chest and heart cannot be vented properly, leading to feelings of sadness and depression in individuals.

Furthermore, when the Pericardium Meridian is blocked and not functioning properly, it can result in poor circulation, impure blood, and the inability of the blood to flow normally throughout the body. This can lead to the development of cardiovascular and psychological diseases. Common diseases include "Three Highs" (hyperlipidemia, hypertension, hyperglycemia), arteriosclerosis, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, cerebral thrombosis, etc. The root cause of these diseases lies in the blood vessels, all due to abnormal function of the heart's control over blood vessels, resulting in impure blood and toxins in the blood vessels.

How to unblock the Pericardium Meridian

Massage and tapping of the Pericardium Meridian are effective methods for unblocking the meridian, treating cerebrovascular diseases, and psychological disorders. By using the correct massage techniques, the Qi and blood of the Pericardium Meridian can be kept vigorous and flowing smoothly, thereby enhancing the function of the pericardium and better protecting the heart.

When you tap this tendon, your little finger and ring finger will become numb. Below this tendon, there is an important acupoint called Tianquan. Pinch it with your fingers and feel the numbness in your fingers to confirm that you have found the correct position.
