Traditional Chinese Home Remedies for Hemorrhoids: Easy and Effective Solutions

Pumpkin fumigation and application

Ingredients: Some pumpkins.

Procedure: Wash the pumpkins and slice them. Boil the slices in water until they become a soup-like consistency. Use this soup to fumigate the affected area. Additionally, burn the pumpkin slices into charcoal and grind them into powder. Apply the powder to the affected area twice a day for 7-10 days to see results.

Geoduck clam hemorrhoid treatment

Ingredients: 2 live geoduck clams, 6 grams of borneol.

Ingredients: 15 grams of alum, 60 grams of pomegranate peel.

Procedure: Put the alum and pomegranate peel in a clay pot, add enough water, and heat it on high heat for 5 minutes. Then, while it's still hot, use it to fumigate the affected area twice a day.

Sichuan peppercorn fumigation and washing

Ingredients: Some Sichuan peppercorns.

Procedure: Choose a dozen good Sichuan peppercorns and add a teaspoon of salt. Pour boiling water over them and use the steam to fumigate the affected area once a day for 10 minutes. For severe cases, do it twice a day, morning and evening.

Fresh walnut leaf rubbing and washing

Ingredients: 100 grams of fresh walnut leaves, some water.

Procedure: Put the fresh walnut leaves in a clay pot, add enough water, cover it with paper, then bring it to a boil and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Put the pot, still covered, into a bucket and tear open the paper. Sit on top of the bucket and fumigate the affected area until the heat dissipates. Finally, put the residue from the pot into a basin, add some hot water, and use it for sitz baths. Use the residue tea to wash the affected area 3 times a day, for 5 consecutive days.

Effect: Walnut leaves have the effect of killing parasites and reducing swelling. They can inhibit various fungi and are effective for treating swollen and painful hemorrhoids.
