Medicinal use

Radix Polygoni Multiflori Carp Soup

Ingredients: 1 carp, 10 Radix Polygoni Multiflori, pepper, salt, 1 tbsp of cooking wine. Directions: Fill a large bowl with 500 ml of water and steam the carp in a pot for 1 hour. Scrape the carp, remove the guts and gills, and cut into segments. Bring the pot to a boil with the right amount of water over high heat, add the carp segments, wait for the water to boil again, then turn to low heat and simmer slowly for about 2 hours, and finally in add the He Shou Wu broth and simmer slowly. Add salt, cooking wine and pepper to taste. Efficacy: can Lishui strengthen the spleen and regulate blood lipids.

Boiled eggs with Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni

Ingredients: 100 grams of Radix et Rhizoma Polygonati, 2 eggs. Lard, ginger, salt, cooking wine, monosodium glutamate in appropriate amounts. Directions: Wash and cut the Radix et Rhizoma Polygonatum into pieces. Put the eggs and Radix et Rhizoma Polygonati together in a casserole dish, add water in the right amount, and add onion, ginger, salt and wine. Bring to a boil over a high flame and then simmer over a low flame until the egg is cooked. He Shou Wu beef in pot

Ingredients: 15 grams of Radix et Rhizoma Polygonati, 75 grams of beef, longan meat and red dates. Directions: Wash the Radix et Rhizoma with water and set aside. Cut the beef into small pieces, add a small amount of ginger in the pot with the boiling water, remove the fat and Cang, then add Shou Wu, longan meat and red dates, and then cook for 1 hour on a gentle fire.
