 Causes of Headaches

  1. Headaches caused by colds

   This situation is quite common. The main reason is headaches caused by bacterial and viral infections in the lungs, urinary system, and mouth. It usually accompanies a throbbing pain;

   There may also be fever. It is best to undergo examination and treat the pathogen. After the pathogen is cured, the headache symptoms will greatly alleviate.

  2. Headaches caused by high blood pressure

   Headaches caused by high blood pressure feel different from those caused by colds and fever. The latter may have a throbbing pain, while headaches caused by high blood pressure are more of a pulsating pain;

   And it continues when blood pressure is elevated. Generally, the location of the headache is not fixed.

  3. Headaches caused by cerebral hemorrhage, etc.

   Headaches caused by cerebral hemorrhage are generally referred to as central headaches. The symptoms are swelling pain and dull pain;

   If there is a perception of limb numbness, even mental confusion and other symptoms, attention should be paid and prompt medical examination should be sought to determine whether it is cerebral hemorrhage through a brain CT scan.
 


 

  4. Neurological headaches. This situation is also quite common. Neurological headaches usually occur in people who overuse their brains, are in a state of prolonged fatigue, and have insomnia;

   The symptoms generally include a tight scalp, as well as squeezing, pulsating pain, and other symptoms.

 Methods to Relieve Headaches

  1. Use cold compress

   Apply an ice pack to the forehead, temples, or back of the neck. The cooling effect can relax the muscles and relieve headaches.

   2. Take a relaxing bath
       Mental stress and tension often cause headaches.

   As long as you relax yourself, the symptoms of headache will alleviate. Adding a few drops of essential oil to the bathwater will enhance the effect.

   3. Do a head massage
       Gently apply pressure to the area of the headache using your thumb and index finger.

   Whether it's the temples, forehead, back of the head, or the base of the neck.

   Massage steadily in a circular motion, and apply pressure as needed. Massage for 10 to 15 seconds, or even longer if necessary. Reduce the amount of time spent using the computer.
